I just got back from a weekend BA TP trip to Bologna (BLQ) in Italy with SQFAN.
The airport was very pleasant. I checked in at the BA Club Europe line and was told that I could have gone straight to the Marconi business lounge (airside) to check-in. Once my flight came up for boarding, I went through the special security checkpoint connected to the lounge (with Italian ladies
) and into the departure area.
I was just wondering what other airports have a special security area for premium pax ? I don't mean airports like ZRH which have a special lane for premium pax but airports which have a separate area. Off hand, I can only think of the following:
* LHR terminal 1 zone R for BA premium pax and OW ruby and above
* Some airports in China (e.g. Changsha) which have a special security area for VIPs (including those travelling in domestic F)
* LH FCT (the ultimate I suppose which I've yet to try)
but given that I'm not nearly as widely travalled as some of SQTalkers, I'm sure there must be more (or plenty more) ?
