  • Any review for Bo Innovation?

    Dear guys....
Has anyone done Bo Innovation, Hong Kong before?
    Any comments?
Is the Chef's table set menu worth the HKD1580++ price per person?
How about the wine pairing? Is that worth the additional HKD600++ price per person?
They have "Iberico 36" and "Saga-Gyu" among their Chef's table set menu for December...

    Thanks guy...

This is the guy that was on Bourdain... if you're into avant garde cuisine, it does look good... though he does smoke all over the food, apparently, which is rather a turn-off hence I won't be eating there anytime soon

My church friend is one of the Chef at Bo Innovation. Being a Michellin-starred restaurant, I think it's worth going even though I have yet to try it myself.

I heard that reservation is a must.

My friend and I had dinner there last Christmas. There was only one menu available and we went for all the extras and the wine pairings. I have to say that it was a disappointing experience as I mentioned:

Obviously Michelin agreed with me since (although I didn't know it when I ate there) they demoted him from 2 stars to only 1!

Hmmm.. sleeveless kitchen crews - not too safe in the kitchen, not counting the amount of stray hairs that might permeate.. :S

Why the reference to me ? Neither of the links you posted refer to Bo Innovation and I didn't suggest anything else in this thread.

In fact, the links posted refer to foreign food and "cha chaan teng" (similar to kopitiams in Singapore) which aren't what Dent@SUB is looking for as I understand it (he mentions "fancy" places).

                      Thanks guys for the suggestions.
Just had a fab dinner at Bo Innovation last night.
It's kinda pricy (hey, whad did you expected from a Michellin starred resto?), but I thing Bo Innovation still deserve its Michellin Stars.
Took a lot of pictures, course by course.... Will try to make a full TR and DR once I've got home (after New Year)....
